Mike Fisher

Owner

I am Mike Fisher the owner of Mike’s Custom Mechanical. I have been involved in the HVACR and Plumbing industry for 16 years. I hold a Master Mechanical and Master Plumbing license for the state of Minnesota as well as Minneapolis and St Paul. I am extremely fortunate to work in an industry that is constantly evolving and one that is extremely demanding both mentally and physically. Each and every day I am rewarded by helping customers find solutions to their Plumbing and Mechanical needs. I am a father to four beautiful, energetic children and husband to an amazing wife to whom I’m also very fortunate to work alongside at this awesome organization. I am also very grateful to all of our amazing customers who make our organization possible!!

Amanda Fisher

VP

I am Amanda Fisher, VP of Mike's custom mechanical. My husband and I started this business together 12 years ago. Since then, we have married and had four beautiful children who run our lives for us! It has been a wild ride for us so far, and I very much enjoy getting to work side by side with my husband and make a life for ourselves from our dedication to each other and our family. I love coming to work where we strive to have a fun, family-oriented environment. I hope to have you join our family of customers too!

Mike

Journeyman Pipefitter

I’m a Journeyman Pipefitter for Mike’s Custom Mechanical with a focus on residential HVAC installation and service. I love my job and helping people with their home comfort needs. When I’m not working, I enjoy fishing on Mille Lacs lake and spending time with my family up north. I see myself as a hard-working family oriented guy and I look forward to working with you in the future.

Tyler

Hi, my name is Tyler McGhan. I just started working at Mike’s Custom Mechanical about a month ago. Prior to working here, I was a meat cutter for five years. My hobbies outside of work are playing hockey, fishing, hunting, and traveling. I’m currently in a relationship with my longtime girlfriend and I also have a bernedoodle named Winston.

Caden

My name is Caden Hickle, and I am a first-year apprentice at Mike’s. I have been with Mike’s for nine months. Currently, I attend St. Paul college for plumbing. I enjoy helping people with their daily plumbing needs. In my free time, I enjoy hunting, fishing, and being outdoors with family and friends. I love my job so far, and I look forward to what plumbing brings me in the future.

Bailey

My name is Bailey, and I grew up in Monticello, Minnesota. When not working, I enjoy hunting, but my favorite thing to do is be on my motorcycle! I’ve enjoyed my time with Mike’s Custom mechanical and look forward to a long career ahead! I look forward to meeting your HVAC needs!

Derek

I have been in the HVAC field for about eight years and have been with Mike’s Custom Mechanical for two years. Before I got into HVAC, I served in the army for eight years, where I did one combat tour in Afghanistan. When I’m not working, I love to spend time with my two kids. I also like to spend my time hunting and fishing.

Shane

My name is Shane McManus, and I have worked for Mike’s Custom Mechanical as a plumber for four years. I got into plumbing mainly because my father is also a plumber. I enjoy helping customers complete plumbing projects of all types. In my free time, I enjoy hunting, fishing, camping, and spending time with my friends and family.

Jon “BJ”

My name is Jon “BJ” Norsten, and I live in Coon Rapids with my fiance Jen and my dog Max. I have two children that we are so proud of. My background is primarily in sales and customer service. Fun fact: I am a licensed realtor in Minnesota. I chose to work with Mike’s Custom Mechanical because Mike and Amanda have created a veteran-owned family business that is truly customer-driven and appreciates its employees. In my free time, I enjoy hunting, fishing, and spending time with the kids.

Jared

My name is Jared Solway and, I’ve been a part of Mike’s Custom Mechanical for two years now, pursuing my career and education as a plumber. I love my job and the people I work alongside with. I also enjoy camping and spending time with family and friends and fishing with my nephew. I have a dog named Brandy and a girlfriend of two years now.

Tanner

Tanner is an HVAC Apprentice who lives with his girlfriend, two dogs, and two guinea pigs. He enjoys spending time with his family, playing videogames, and building Lego sets.

Service Technician

Jake recently joined Mike’s Custom Mechanical as an HVAC Technician. He has been in the industry for over 5 years and enjoys helping customers with all their HVAC needs. In his spare time he enjoys being Up North enjoying the outdoors, hunting and fishing.

Nick

Nick was in search of a place where he would be appreciated and that has a family oriented atmosphere. He joined the Mike’s team as a Plumber. He has 3 boys and enjoys hunting, fishing, and watching his kids play sports.
